Speculation is a space dedicated for those who suffer from exasperation in criticizing the unresolved urban space problems in Indonesia that often whisk away our hopes and imaginations on the possibility of decent urban space. It is also for those who are tired of seeing visual art practices in public spaces that are ignorant about their social roles. Published bimonthly, you are welcomed to share your ideas, opinions, concepts, or designs, playful yet logical, in attempt to solve problems big and small—for better public space and visual works in our city spaces. Feel free to fill the column with your crisp ideas, and seize us, the editors, from oversupplying the column with our own writings as we will surely run out of ideas someday. Send your writings to editor@karbonjournal.org.
