Written Evidence Conflict. What can we derive from this phenomenon on Katamso street, Bandung (26/09) (street singers, scavengers, and sales[men] are forbidden welcome into PPI complex)? Just a mere anger-ridden vandalism? Or anything deeper? Without knowing exactly the relationship between these “street singers, scavengers, and sales[men]” with the residents of the complex, we can only come up with assumptions. One thing for sure, the formation of gated communities does not resolve social problems. These strategy may even make the situation worse and rise these conflicts up to the surface.
